This labor preparation intensive will give you the tools you need to enter your birth feeling equipped and empowered. Topics will include optimal positioning, breath work, and key positions to use during labor. Michelle Cohen, mother of two, prenatal and postnatal yoga instructor, and birth and postpartum doula, weaves together her knowledge of various comfort measures, yoga philosophy and postures, breath work, visualization, and birth planning to help you actively and enthusiastically participate in your birth. For those seeking an active, participatory birth, this is a perfect complement to other childbirth education for first-time couples and as a stand-alone refresher for second-time (or more!) moms.
