Pregnancy Yoga

Pregnancy yoga is an all-levels class that helps expecting moms to develop the flexibility, concentration and strength needed during the transformative time of pregnancy. Through yoga, breath awareness and relaxation, moms experience the special connection they have with their babies while developing trust and confidence in their body’s resources for birth. Suitable for beginning yoga students.

Postnatal Progress Yoga

Postnatal Progress is a yoga class for mamas past their initial postpartum period (6 months+ to 4 years), who are looking to target key areas for strength building–lots of core work! pelvic floor! shoulders! back!–who feel ready to step back into a fluid and dynamic yoga practice, but are not quite ready to return to a vigorous or traditional yoga class.  This class is not suitable for those with prolapse or other significant injuries.

Students in the beginning stages of their postpartum journey (6 weeks to 6 months) should sign up for Postnatal Foundations, as that class will address early postpartum needs.

10 week session: March 3-May 12

Baby & Me Yoga

Baby & Me Yoga class combines poses, songs and massage for your baby with postpartum strength building exercises and breath-based relaxation. In this one-hour session, you’ll get the chance to bond with your baby (physically and spiritually), move, stretch, build strength, and connect with fellow new parents. Mothers, fathers, caregivers, and babies all welcome. Classes are designed for babies 6 weeks to pre-crawling.

6 week session: March 5-April 9

Postnatal Foundations Yoga

Postnatal Foundations is for the newly postpartum mama 6 weeks to 6 months.  This class is suitable for beginning yoga students, and will focus on poses that target all the new-mom tender spots–core, pelvic floor, shoulders and hips and offer relaxation and restoration. Babies are welcome in class, though the yoga practice focus will be on mom. Women are welcome to attend without babies as well.
